Hours

We work Mon-Fri. Usually between 9am and 4pm.

We sometimes work outside of those hours for pick-ups, deliveries, rush work, etc. We try to keep our schedule as reliable as possible, but we like to be flexible when the situation calls for it, which can mean shifting around a bit to accommodate certain projects.

Our machines are loud, and for our safety we need to remain focused while using them, so we can't always answer the phone right away. The best way to reach us is via email, or the contact form below with as much detail about your project as possible to help us hit the ground running.

Why Open InkBird Print Studio?

I was tired of working strange hours, managing others, and stressing myself out for someone else's profit. I spent many years in the non-profit world, but that came with its own set of stressors and I wasn't quite ready to go back. The job market was a mess, and I was tired of the grind. I wanted to be able to organize my own schedule, and also have the freedom to cut myself some slack when I needed a break.

My Dad was ready to retire, and Chris and I needed a change. I had helped out at Dad's screen printing shop growing up [see photo], and had a part-time job there for a while as a teen.

I had worked in commercial printing for a few years before hopping into the non-profit world. I did graphic design and art as a side hustle throughout it all, and my years in management gave me the confidence I needed to feel like I was more than capable of running my own place.

So we moved to Michigan and I spent a few months working alongside my Dad relearning the trade. I met his contacts and built my own brand while we moved closer to the day that InkBird Print Studio would be officially open. Same family, same location, same great results... but a new face and a new name.
